Warranty Information Instrument Warranty

Limited Warranty Brokers, this warranty shall continue for a period of ninety (90) days, commencing from the date of shipment or transfer from the original purchaser, whichever time comes first.  Extended warranties of 6 months or 1 year are available.

This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of parts that prove to be defective during the warranty period.  This warranty does not cover consumable or peripheral items supplied with the instrument.  This warranty is not transferable nor valid for parts damaged, lost or which fail because of accident, environmental conditions (including but not limited to dust, heat, humidity), electrical service anomaly, fire, theft, acts of nature (including but not limited to storm, earthquake, flood), vandalism, negligence, misuse, spills, abuse or the use of supplies which may have a detrimental effect on the instrument and/or its parts.

This warranty does not remove the responsibility of the customer requirements to perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance procedures as outlined in the operators manual. If you encounter a problem with your instrument during the warranty period, AIB’s Service Department will provide telephone support or the parts, labor, freight and travel necessary to repair the instrument.  If the problem can't be resolved by telephone, at our discretion, AIB will:

a) Ship parts for user to replace

b) Ship unit back to for repair

c) Arrange for onsite repair either by or by an authorized representative

This warranty will not extend to any service, repairs or modification made to the instrument by any party other than AIB or its authorized representative. AIB’s liability for all matters from the supply, installation, use, repair and maintenance of the instrument, whether arising under this Warranty or otherwise, shall be limited solely to the replacement of components thereof. All replacements are the sole discretion of AIB. In no event shall AIB be liable for injuries sustained by third parties, consequential damages, or loss of profits.  Replaced parts shall become the property of AIB.

The foregoing warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to, warranties of merchantability and of fitness for a particular purpose or use. Instrument Rebuilding Process

At we specialize in high-quality used and refurbished lab equipment and instruments. Our team of skilled technicians and engineers go through each system to determine if it meets our standards to be put on the sales floor. Here is a basic overview of our standard procedure:

Complete dismantling, cleaning and decontaminating of instrument

If required:  All covers and panels are professionally painted to color match the original manufacturer. 

All replaceable parts are inspected, cleaned and exchanged. Typical parts include          air filters, tubes, sensors, pumps, valves, solenoids, switches, seals and check valves.

All mechanical assemblies are inspected, verified and lubricated.

All electrical connections, assemblies and boards are inspected and replaced as necessary. 

All internal surfaces are cleaned and repaired where necessary.

Instrument is rebuilt to Original Manufacturer Specifications and tested.

Quality Control run on assemblies and electronics. Quality Control run on instrument parameters verified against set assayed values.
